What a busy last few weeks it has been for pickleball (10/7/22). We just wanted to update all our members on the amazing results from some of our very own members. These past two weekends have seen two state titles (Tasmanian Open & QLD Pickleball Championships).

Further Update:

The Pickleball Victoria Membership as of July 1 has now gone up $10 across all memberships. This will see the adult membership be $50 and the Senior/Junior membership at $40 going forward. This was voted on at the AGM in November 2021 and will be vital to the further success of pickleball growth in Victoria. We are using these funds to grow the sports in areas of the state that has never had pickleball, while also buying more equipment to lend very cheaply to new venues and groups. We are also looking at coaching and player clinics to further the growth and skills of not only our players but coaches as well. We are very excited about what the next 6 months will bring and the years going forward.

We will also have further information on tournament dates and ideas in the next few weeks once they are finalised. We are aiming on a Vic Open later in the year, a Teams Challenge and a few small tournaments from some of our venues and clubs.
